Applications for Together products will be accepted up until 8pm on Thursday 21 February, at which point the products will be removed from the market.
Intermediaries were made aware of the decision in an email sent out this afternoon.
The move follows announcements by Alliance & Leicester, Abbey and Coventry Building Society's intermediary lending arm Godiva Mortgages earlier in the week, detailling their own withdrawals from the 100 per cent plus market.
Michelle Slade, analyst at Moneyfacts.co.uk said that giving in to these 'external pressures' was just the beginning.
"Northern Rock is at the start of a difficult journey and this appears to be one of the first of many prudent steps they are likely to undertake along the way," she said.
BM Solutions is now the only lender still offering this type of product to borrowers, with speculation mounting over whether it too will follow suit.
