Rodrigues has held senior leadership positions in Visa International, Bradford and Bingley and Thomas Cook and he is currently chairman of consumer lending business International Personal Finance.

Rodrigues, who holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and an MA in Economics & Economic History from Cambridge University, replaces Kate Avery as Openwork chair.
