He takes over from Ross Ainslie who is leaving in August to pursue a master’s degree.
As proposition director for Bright Grey and Scottish Provident Edwards has been responsible for marketing, product development, and public relations. He has nearly 20 years’ experience marketing financial services products, 15 of which have been spent specialising in protection.
Edwards said: “Whilst we will be sad to see Ross go, I’m delighted to be offered this opportunity. Both brands are successful in their own marketplaces and have very strong teams behind them. I’m very much looking forward to the challenge that lies ahead of me.”
