RSA joins the GI provider’s ‘Elements’ panel alongside Aviva, Lloyds Insurers and Zurich.
‘Elements’ is Select & Protect’s multi-insurer proposition, initially launched in 2007. With the addition of RSA, and the recent enhancement to its trading platform S2, brokers are now able to obtain a range of quotes from a panel of insurers offering a much wider underwriting footprint than before.
Bruce Reid, S&P managing director, said: “We know that an increasing number of the brokers we work with are focusing on selling GI alongside the mortgage and financial advice they offer to their clients, as an additional source of income.
“The original aim of Elements when we launched it back in 2007 was to offer a wider underwriting footprint and to make the GI sales process simpler and faster for brokers looking to offer their clients a choice of prices and insurers. We are very pleased to welcome RSA to our panel of insurers and RSA’s addition makes the Elements proposition even stronger.”
Reid continued, “RSA will complement our existing insurer panel in a number of ways, including offering competitive rates in postcode areas less well served by our other insurer partners.”
