Martin takes over from Brightstar CEO Rob Jupp who has been heading the association since August 2013.
Speaking of his new role he said: “I am delighted to be taking up the position of chairman with the AOBP.
“It’s an honour to be taking over from Rob Jupp after his very successful term as chairman and I am determined to continue his sterling work in representing the short-term community.”
Martin has been a member of the of the AOBP executive committee since 2012.
