Arch will be reporting to Saffron’s head of mortgages Peter Izard and will be tasked with developing Saffron’s business relationships with its panel of distributors, with particular responsibility for Legal & General.
Arch has extensive experience of the intermediary market from her previous roles with C&G, Halifax and Legal & General.
Arch said: “I’m delighted to have joined Saffron Building Society at such an exciting time in its development.
“The launch of Saffron For Intermediaries is a very tangible sign of Saffron’s commitment to the intermediary sector and I’m looking forward to helping the Society build its presence in the broker mortgage market.”
Izard added: “I would like to welcome Anita to the Society. I have no doubt that with her experience and expertise, she’ll be able to make an immediate impact in her new role.”
Saffron For Intermediaries launched its ‘Special Situations’ range of mortgages in March this year, which has been designed to help creditworthy borrowers struggling to find a suitable mortgage via a high street lender.
Products include deals for landlords, first-time buyers, those moving up the property ladder, the self-employed, borrowers with an adverse credit record, contractors, professionals seeking higher LTVs and people building their own homes.
