The lender’s full range will be available to Northern Irish brokers, as well as the option to access Derbyshire ISU products for properties brought on the British mainland. It will launch with a number of roadshows across the province.

With NI continuing to see rampant house price inflation, a number of lenders have launched propositions in the province in recent months.
However, Tony Capon, head of intermediary sales at Salt, believed: “We estimate that over three-quarters of BTL business being done by NI brokers is actually on property in Northern England and Scotland. The fact any broker can access Derbyshire ISU products is one of a number of unique service propositions.”
John Malone, managing director of Premier Mortgage Services, said: “There is now an incredible strain on local people, who are struggling to compete. One of the challenges is the massive price appreciation but with all the major lenders now over there, there are plenty of lending opportunities.”
