Move extends the lender's presence in the UK
Sancus Lending Group has announced the appointment of Mark Corfield (pictured) as relationship director, joining its business development team.
Corfield joins from Lloyds Banking Group, where he recently held the role of relationship director too, following a career with the bank spanning over 18 years. There, he built a strong network of clients, intermediaries, and professionals.
His responsibilities included providing solutions to complex financial situations while building a portfolio of business, specialising in mortgages and lending.
The property lender said Corfield has a proven track record in business development and relationship management, with expertise in identifying new business opportunities and managing and delivering property finance. He will report to Sancus’ UK head of sales Jaxon Stevens.
“The UK team are thrilled to welcome Mark, we are looking forward to working with him to support property developers and investors throughout the UK,” Richard Whitehouse, UK managing director at Sancus, commented.
“The recent extension in our primary funding line also means that Mark, along with the rest of the team, will be able to offer up to 90% loan-to-cost on development finance products moving forward.”
Corfield added that he looks forward to being part of the growth journey that the property lender is on.
“I feel it’s an exciting time to join Sancus,” he said. “Sancus has built an excellent reputation in the market, and I am really looking forward to being able to offer this certainty of delivery and customer focused approach to my network.”
