Santander has helped 19,300 first-time buyers get on the property ladder.
It recorded a total of 3,100 customers using Help to Buy, with lending totalling £450m.
Ana BotÃn, chief executive officer of Santander, said: “Our aim is to become the best bank in the UK, for our people, our customers, our shareholders and the communities in which we operate, ensuring that everything we do is Simple, Personal and Fair.”
Average loan to values on new mortgages remained steady at 65%, while the bank recorded average loan to income multiple of 3.1 times.
