Mortgage Business Expo is expected to have 1000 visitors come through the doors on the day.
The Expo is free to mortgage intermediaries, and gives them access to around 50 packagers, magazines, clubs and networks. In addition, CML and AMI are hosting seminars throughout the day featuring some of the industry’s leading spokespeople, allowing Scottish intermediaries to keep track of industry developments.
Richard Sexton, national business development director for e.surv chartered surveyors, said: “We are looking forward to the first event of this kind in Scotland and interested to understand which issues will be raised by visitors to our stand. We will also be giving out a limited number of free valuation vouchers for organisations who are keen to try our services for the first time”.
Show manager, Daniel Nwaokolo, said: “This is the first year that Clarion has organised the Mortgage Business Expo in Scotland and we are extremely pleased with the level of interest from both exhibitors and intermediaries alike. We have an impressive seminar programme, with key industry spokespeople contributing, who will also be available to answer any questions that intermediaries may have. The Scottish market has been showing some encouraging signs of growth in the last few months and the number of mortgage approvals is up."
At the Glasgow Expo intermediaries will be able to use the Mortgages plc Cyber Café, providing broadband internet connection to all attendees. It will be positioned immediately adjacent to the Mortgage plc, stand A62, and will also provide catering facilities to guests.
