Commenting on the new service Nick Baxter (Mortgage Promotions Director) said, “There is a misconception that only networks can provide this type support. This is not true. Mortgage Clubs offer just as much, if not more, support to their registered users than networks provide to their AR’s. We are clear that to grow we have to add value to our registered users and lender partners. These types of meetings add value to our registered users because we give them the information they need to stay directly regulated and they add value to lenders because we help them understand the needs of intermediaries. These meetings are not just an excuse for a junket. Firms that attend will learn how to develop there business under FSA regulation and write more profitable business”.

Stephen Buchan, Senior Manager - National Accounts for Scottish Widows said: “We are delighted to be involved with these meetings and Mortgage Promotions again. We held similar meetings a year ago and they we a tremendous success. We have a great range of products and look forward to tell directly regulated firms about them."
