Last year SDL Surveying saw its total revenue rise by 8% year-on-year.
Residential surveying specialist SDL Surveying achieved a record year in 2019, growing its total revenue by 8% year-on-year to reach £13m.
This was reportedly driven by both an increase in its managed volumes and the work carried out via its internal surveyors.
Over the course of the year SDL Surveying completed 220,000 valuations, and increased its market share from 14% to 20%.
Simon Jackson (pictured), managing director of SDL Surveying, said: “2019 has been a fantastic year for the business – we have significantly increased our market share by increases in allocation and becoming lead panel manager for one of lenders with whom we have had a longstanding partnership.
“We are excited to kick-start the New Year by becoming the lead panel manager for another one of our lender clients.
“In order to fulfil the increases in allocation, we have successfully grown both our network and the number of our own staff surveyors throughout 2019, and we will be looking to do the same in 2020.
“These achievements throughout the year would not have been possible if it wasn’t for the hard work and dedication of the entire SDL Surveying team, of whom I am really proud.”
Over 2019, SDL Surveying grew its staff headcount by 28% and the size of its national network by 53%.
