Emma Ridehalgh has been appointed as training manager to head up a team of five professional trainers who are tasked with helping property lawyers gain maximum benefit from the Searchflow service as the popularity of e-conveyancing continues to grow.
Confirmed Emma: "With the popularity in electronic searches continuing to grow, we have seen a dramatic increase in demand for our free of charge, CPD qualifying, training courses which basically help ensure legal professionals are using the system to their full advantage. My aim is to encourage law professionals to fully embrace the technology to ensure they have maximum benefit from the efficiencies it provides, including reduced administration, quicker access to data and improved accuracy."
During 2004, over 6,000 practices ordered two million electronic searches via the NLIS channel, one of the fastest-growing Internet legal services, with Searchflow managing 40% of these requests. These figures are set to dramatically increase as more local authorities offer access to public data in an electronic environment.
Concludes Mark Riddick, CEO of Searchflow: "Emma has vast experience in the training sector, and we are really pleased to have here leading our training department. The team are all TAP accredited, so are able to offer fully comprehensive training courses to all customers, free of charge, including bespoke courses for those requiring individual advice and support on becoming e-aware."
