The company is aiming to cover up to 80 local seminars throughout the remainder of this year offering professional training and development for legal professionals in the residential property market across the UK.
Richard Hinton, business development director of SearchFlow, said: “It’s vital conveyancers and property lawyers understand the specific risks associated with property transactions in their region. Being able to advise buyers on the potential for these risks enables them to provide effective, efficient and thorough due-diligence.
“Each of our seminars will be tailored to the region in which they are taking place and run by recognised industry experts. There will be no generic material, all discussions will be focussed on the key risks associated with that area whether it’s subsidence, flood, contaminated land, HS2, as well as the new pressures from new build development and other property risks. The sessions are designed to be intimate in nature so attendees can get the most out of them; however, this means that spaces are limited so we encourage people to book in advance.”
The informal seminars will be led by property industry experts who will focus on essential updates on search due diligence and practice management.
Each session is tailored to the region in which it is held and will identify key property search risks in the area, along with essential risk management and compliance updates for legal firms.
Topics to be addressed include:
• Environmental risks due to contaminated land
• Latest implications of flooding and client protection in respective regions
• Safeguarding your practice on standards and security
• Looking through a developer’s eyes on risks and opportunities in your region
• Avoiding delays and rejections through mapping accuracy
The sessions are free and all attendees will receive 2 CPD points and receive the opportunity to network with other legal professionals in the residential market.
