This change heralds GISecure’s strategy to provide brokers with a more complete general insurance offering and coincides with the firm's plans to launch a range of products later this year to complement its current portfolio. These include income protection, buildings and contents and loan payment protection, all accessible through a single on-line system.
David Hill, managing director at GISecure, commented: “The new name is intended to denote fresh thinking and new beginnings which is in parallel with the company’s plans to focus on advancement of general insurance products, with particular emphasis on providing intermediaries with easy to use systems, competitive commission rates and added value benefits for their customers. We are working closely with our distribution partners to develop a portfolio of products that represent excellent choice.”
