Currently there are no mainstream secured loan providers lending in Northern Ireland. The last to withdraw from the market was GE Money more than 12 months ago.
Matt Tristam, director at Loans Warehouse, said: “When we heard the news earlier today that Evolution Money were to go where no lender has gone before, at least for the last few years, we were genuinely excited.
“Secured loans in Northern Ireland have been practically non-existant in recent years and the announcement today will be extremely well received by the intermediary market throughout the UK.”
