The service, which is the result of Sesame’s link up with the online eConveyancer service, will enable Sesame’s 6000-plus advisers to refer conveyancing work to local solicitor firms such as Goldsmith Williams via Sesame’s mortgage sourcing software.
Andy Young, Sesame product manager for mortgages comments: “ Working with eConveyancer we identified a panel of independent solicitor firms who specialise in conveyancing work. We set specific criteria and service standards that these firms had to meet before being chosen for the panel. Goldsmith Williams demonstrated that they could offer a high quality service and quick response at a competitive price, which is what our brokers are looking for in a conveyancing firm.”
David Shortt, Corporate Services Director at Goldsmith Williams adds: “Sesame is one of the largest IFA networks in the UK so we are delighted to be involved in this latest initiative to provide brokers access to conveyancing services online. Through the online service, introducers will be able to log on and request an introduction to Goldsmith Williams and we will then respond within three hours, accept the instruction and reply with confirmation of costs.
“As a firm, we already offer brokers the many benefits that online technology can deliver such as online case tracking, so linking with Sesame’s new service is a natural progression for us.”
