Sesame signs up 10 more lenders to panel

Misys-owned Sesame, the result of a merger between five IFA networks, has agreements with Royal Bank of Scotland, The One Account, The Woolwich, GMAC-RFC, Bank of Scotland, BM Solutions, NatWest, Intelligent Finance, Standard Life Bank and The Mortgage Business.

The network launched in April 2003 and has plans to float in the second half of 2004.

Kensington MD leaves after five months 13/03/04

Rob Bier, managing director at sub-prime lender Kensington Mortgages has left the firm due to what were rumoured to be ‘working differences.’

John Maltby, group chief executive has assumed his duties until a replacement is found.

Kensington said there were differences ‘in terms of direction.’

Bier’s CV includes CEO at Britannia and strategic involvement in the launch of specialist lender Verso.

Pink creates regional service teams 13/03/04

Pink has restructures lines of communication to call-centre teams, intending to bolster relationships between the mortgage distributor and its brokers.

The sales and service teams have been divided along regional lines and, following registration, the new system recognises the broker’s number, automatically placing the call with the right team.
