Woodley will be in office until Friday 27 April 2012. The role of chief executive officer will be filled on an interim basis by Philip George, current joint managing director of Shawbrook.
George was involved in the launching of Shawbrook in October 2011 from three existing financial businesses, Whiteaway Laidlaw Bank, Link Loans and lending platform Commercial First.
In March 2012 Shawbrook acquired Singers Asset Finance to extend its lending offer to SMEs.
