Alexander will be the new commercial lending manager, while Wood will join Tina Bartlett as a lending officer.

Alexander joined Shawbrook’s Commercial Mortgages division in 2011, following roles at Heritable Bank and Mortgage Express, where he worked as a senior underwriter.
Wood has been at Shawbrook since August 2013, having previously been a case manager at The Mortgage Times.
Bennett added: “We have big ambitions for our short term loan business in 2014, and at the forefront of this growth will be excellent service delivery combined with the most competitive pricing across all LTV’s.”
