The Exchange’s Exweb portal will become the preferred service for SimplyBiz’s members, who will benefit from The Exchange’s multi-license discount; and SimplyBiz will include Officeweb, The Exchange’s IFA back office administration system, in its recommended panel.
Commenting on the move, Ken Davy, chairman of SimplyBiz, said: “Both SimplyBiz and The Exchange have common goals – to support IFAs by helping them reduce costs, increase efficiency and improve client service. This makes The Exchange the ideal partner to support our ambitious expansion plans over the next three years.”
SimplyBiz was launched in November 2002 by Davy, founder of the DBS network, to provided support services to small and medium sized, directly regulated IFAs. Since launch, SimplyBiz has signed up 50 IFA firms and aims to have 1,000 IFA firms – a 5 per cent market share – joining within three years.
