In her new role, Pauline will be responsible for the 12-strong HR team, based at Skipton’s Bailey headquarters, to support the Society’s future growth and development.
Pauline joined the Society over eight years ago and spent three years working operationally in the general correspondence and customer services areas before moving into training in 1999. Pauline then specialised in the area of education before becoming a senior HR consultant at the beginning of 2002. She has continued to drive much of the Society's education and development activity, combining this with providing HR consultancy to designated areas of the business. Pauline lives in Settle and is married with three children.
Commenting on her appointment, Pauline said, “The great thing about my job is that it is primarily about shaping the values and culture in which people work. It is about the values that influence behaviour, which forms the crucial link between customers, colleagues, teams and departments and, ultimately, leads to a great place for people to work or to do business.”
