Offshore bank names Dunsterville new CCO; Robertson joins digital bank as CPO
Skipton International and Atom bank have both announced key senior appointments as they continue to strengthen their leadership teams.
Skipton International, part of the Skipton Group, has named Charlotte Dunsterville (pictured left) as its new chief commercial officer.
Dunsterville brings over 30 years of commercial experience, having worked with firms such as Sure and Guernsey-based Un1ty. The appointment follows the recent hiring of Skipton’s chief operations officer.
“Charlotte’s varied commercial background and her reputation for sound judgement will be invaluable as we develop the business,” said Jim Coupe, chief executive of Skipton International. “Her expertise and experience will enable us to grow the business with effective propositions that keep Skipton at the forefront.”
Meanwhile, digital bank Atom has appointed Ayshea Robertson (pictured right) as its new chief people officer.
Robertson, who previously held the same role at Zen Internet, brings extensive experience leading HR functions across various sectors, including at Bellway Homes and Newcastle Building Society.
In her new role, Robertson will focus on driving employee engagement and innovation, continuing Atom’s efforts to be one of the best workplaces in the UK. She will also lead Atom’s recruitment and talent strategy, particularly in the North East, where the bank is working to address the region’s skills gap through internships and mentoring initiatives.
“With extensive experience at an executive level and with a genuine commitment to people, Ayshea comes with excellent credentials and a proven track record across a range of organisations and sectors,” said Mark Mullen, chief executive at Atom bank.
“We see no contradiction between providing excellent service and outstanding value to customers while at the same time ensuring that our people are engaged, motivated and happy. Ayshea’s leadership will be critical to the success of Atom.”
