Chief executive, John Goodfellow, said: "Not only do we feel we need to be in Britain to best serve our members, we also promise to stay in our heartland of Yorkshire. As the largest employer in Skipton, we have a duty to our staff, including those in our call centre. I believe we are better placed to provide a top quality service by being here, rather than on the other side of the world - cheap cost can mean cheap service and that is certainly not our objective when dealing with our members."
