So far so good for MTG forums

The first batch of forums which took place in Brentwood, Liverpool and Manchester were 'packed out and over-subscribed' according to MTG.

Offering a dynamic marketing focus to brokers looking to grow their business through the new-style forums, major studies included the techniques of building a brand by advertising coupled with lead generation, and financial promotions and compliance issues that need to be addressed with regulation.

Cross sale opportunities and the latest software developments were examined in detail, and the fundamentals of direct mail and customer retention outlined to visiting brokers.

GMAC RFC, db mortgages and Platform also gave presentations of the dynamic relationship they had forged with MTG and talked about exclusives and buy-to-let that they are able to offer through The Group’s large distribution channels.

Intermediaries in attendance also gained valuable insight into adopting the latest technology into their proposition, with demonstrations and information on how to maximise use of the latest sourcing software, with Trigold representatives present to offer comprehensive advice on how to maximise its potential. In addition, the forums offered insight into compliance database management, and the benefits of system integration within the intermediary market.

Payam Azadi, head of marketing at The Mortgage Times Group, commented: “All the signs are there that this is going to be our most successful set of forums yet. We’ve seen record evolution this year as the fastest growing mortgage and insurance network of 2007, and this has happened organically with events like this giving intermediaries the chance to find out exactly how we can help them to grow their business levels. We are confident that this success will continue with the rest of the upcoming events.”

Andrew Pitchford, regional RLC manager of GMAC-RFC Partners, who presented at the Brentwood event, added: "The Mortgage Times Group Business Development Forums provide us with a great platform to inform intermediaries of what GMAC-RFC Partners can provide them. It also provides an opportunity to speak with intermediaries and find out their views on the market and what's important to them."

Intermediaries can enroll for the forthcoming Forums by going to www.themortgagetimes.com or calling The Mortgage Times Group marketing department on 0207 268 6968.
