Bruce Reid, managing director of Select & Protect, said: “Our recent online poll asking brokers how they preferred to interact with us and for business development generally, revealed a fairly even split of choice for email, video and online media guides.
“However, face to face advice was the single most popular preference. As part of wider plans we are implementing, the poll endorsed the fact that many brokers value face to face business development meetings.
“Boosting our field presence should help ensure that relationships with our newer brokers get off to the best start possible while those with our established supporters are nurtured.”
Reid said that an important part of the working relationship for S&P was making sure they listened and responded to their brokers needs wherever possible.
“Our latest web poll is asking our brokers for input or change suggestions to improve our proposition, and we’ve already had a strong and interesting response,” added Reid.
“These quick, simple and immediate response polls give us the opportunity to gauge the business temperature of our brokers, analyse the results and then decide and deliver quickly on just what our brokers told us they wanted.
“Our broker partners have a voice in Select & Protect and we continue to listen and respond.”
