Goodridge gets the role at Foundation; Wilde steps up at Paragon
Specialist lenders Foundation Home Loans and Paragon Bank have both announced key leadership promotions, signalling efforts to strengthen their sales teams and enhance relationships with intermediary partners.
Foundation Home Loans has promoted Nathan Goodridge (pictured left) to head of sales.
Goodridge joined the lender in 2022 as a national sales manager and brings over a decade of experience across financial services, having worked with firms such as Lloyds Banking Group, Metro Bank, and NatWest.
In his new role, Goodridge will report directly to director of sales, Grant Hendry, and will oversee a more integrated sales team, with regional account managers responsible for both buy-to-let and residential markets.
“Nathan has been with Foundation Home Loans for nearly three years and during this time, he has consistently demonstrated a deep understanding of the specialist mortgage market, along with exceptional leadership skills,” Hendry said. “His promotion to Head of Sales is a testament to his hard work and dedication.”
Similarly, Paragon Bank has promoted Jason Wilde (pictured right) to head of sales from his previous role as national sales manager.
Wilde, who has been with Paragon since 2007, will continue to support Paragon’s business development managers, with an increased focus on building stronger connections with brokers and shaping the bank’s mortgage product offerings.
Additionally, Paragon has appointed Sally Wright as head of distribution, while Andy Rudkin and Sam Debenham have taken on regional business development manager roles, covering the south and north of England, respectively. All roles will report into Paragon’s mortgages commercial director Russell Anderson.
“A key priority for us this year and next sees us expand our reach by working more strategically with our mortgage networks and club partners, while strengthening the relationships we already have with intermediary firms,” Anderson said. “We’ve created some new roles to reflect that and promoted from within, benefitting from the experience and expertise we have, while also keeping a degree of continuity.
“These changes increase the capacity of some of our key decision-makers to support brokers, providing them and their landlord clients with more certainty from the outset and a clear understanding of how we can work together to get the deal done quickly and efficiently.”
