Dorchester was Spicerhaart’s first COO and was appointed on 26 September 2011. His LinkedIn profile says he remained for seven months following his role as global head of consulting at Gerson Lehrman Group.
He was responsible for the national valuation service provider, Valunation, together with Spicerhaart’s corporate sales division.
Dorchester was to oversee an on-going acquisitions programme and he was working with the board to identify strategic targets, primarily in London and the South East.
Dorchester’s departure followed shortly after the liquidation of Spicerhaart subsidiary H.C. Wolton & Sons.
A spokesman for Spicerhaart group told Mortgage Introducer that Dorchester was appointed only on an interim basis for six months. The company would also announce a permanent successor “shortly”.
At the time of appointment, Dorchester said: “I am absolutely delighted to have joined the Spicerhaart Group as chief operating officer and look forward to helping to build a great long-term business that is profitable, sustainable and a clear market leader in terms of business and people development within the UK property services sector.”
