The SPML KFI is produced using information from SPML’s own product database, and therefore the product information it contains is accurate at the point of issue. Multiple KFIs can be produced for an application where a choice of product, term, repayment type etc has been asked for by the applicant. The SPML online Product Wizard, which enables intermediaries to enter client details and produces product matches, has also been upgraded.
SPML is also keen to support intermediaries via sourcing systems, KFIs being available from Trigold immediately, with others to follow.
Stuart Aitken, SPML’s director of credit, said: “We are delighted to have our KFI system developed, tested and available before the 31 October. Intermediaries are now able to register to receive an Introducer Code which will allow them access to the KFI facility. The online KFI and Product Wizard are the first phase of SPML’s substantial programme of electronic trading developments, and further facilities are being planned over the medium term.”
