Melanie Leask has been appointed as director of mortgage servicing, responsible for mortgage servicing, facilities, and management of SPML’s mortgage system. Melanie joined SPML in January 1998 and was promoted to executive manager mortgage servicing in April 2001, when she also managed the relocation of SPML’s servicing function (customer services, collections and securities) from Kensington to High Wycombe.
Prior to joining SPML, Melanie was head of telemarketing at First Mortgage Group and before that had extensive experience in mortgage lending organisations including Citibank and The Mortgage Corporation.
Anthony Keeble has been appointed SPML’s finance director. Having joined SPML in November 2000 as chief accountant, Anthony was instrumental in relocating and restructuring the finance department. He has many years experience in financial institutions, including Household Mortgage Corporation plc (HMC) and First National Bank. Anthony is based in the High Wycombe offices where, in addition to the general accounting function, he has responsibility for management information, treasury management, capital markets, securitisation and banking relationships. Anthony is a qualified accountant (FCCA), and a member of the Institute Of Directors.
