This allows brokers to submit cases through the Mortgage Intelligence packaging desk or direct to the lender. All cases submitted direct from Mortgage Intelligence members gain the benefits of a £99 valuation fee and free legal costs for their customers.
John Prust, sales and marketing director of SPML said: “While packagers still account for the vast majority of our business, we need to open up channels for the members of Mortgage Intelligence to submit cases direct, if they so wish. A proportion of individual brokers prefer to use the direct route, and the new arrangement opens up this choice for them”.
