The software has been customised to display the SPML brand and core documentation. SPML will also be verifying its mortgage information and KFIs on the Trigold system. The software will be provided free until January 2005.
Bill Safran, joint managing director at Trigold, said: “We are delighted to be chosen as SPML’s additional software provider and have worked closely with them to deliver a solution to support their introducers especially with the critical issue of KFI production both online and offline.”
John Prust, sales and marketing director at SPML, said: “It has been a tumultuous time for introducers and we wanted to add value by offering them the support of the best business software.”
He added: “A tremendous benefit to brokers is that the software enables brokers to produce SPML KFIs either online via a link to our website or offline using the Trigold software.
“Lenders need to recognise that many client meetings do not happen in the introducers’ office and so this facility is crucial to the sales process.”
Mehrdad Yousefi, head of intermediary mortgages at Alliance & Leicester, said: "Obviously both developments are positive news for intermediaries and we should particularly applaud SPML for its move to offer help to intermediaries with KFIs in the run up to, and after, ‘Mortgage Day’.”
