The new offices will bring together all of SPML’s London-based staff, who are currently housed in two offices in Kensington, and will provide enough space for planned staff growth in the future.
SPML currently employs over 400 staff overall across its London and High Wycombe operations. The lender has consistently grown staff numbers and business volumes year on year, hitting a record £2.3 billion completions in its 2003/4 year ended 30 November 2004. SPML has also developed steadily from its roots as a non conforming lender into providing competitive products for the full credit spectrum, including non conforming, light adverse and prime schemes. Niche lending is still a major focus, including self certification, right to buy, buy to let, and second charge/ secured loans.
