Andy Milburn, who was appointed as interim head of marketing for Ageas Protect in 2011, will be leaving the company as his contract comes to an end at the end of September.
Milburn joined Ageas at short notice and the firm said he made a "significant contribution to the development of the company’s profile in the protection market".
Darren Spriggs, managing director of Ageas Protect, said: “Steve’s experience and proven ability of developing successful protection propositions will undoubtedly complement our strong team and continue to expand our presence across the protection market. Such a significant appointment further demonstrates our ability to attract industry talent.
“I would also like to express my sincere appreciation for the contribution that Andy Milburn has made to the business whilst we reviewed our requirements. Andy’s support has been critical in helping the business to respond to significant changes in the market including the impact of the RDR and Gender Directive. I wish him all the best with his future career.”
Casey said: “Ageas has proved to be an innovative and creative provider in the protection market and I look forward to helping craft the next stage of their evolution.”
Milburn said: "I'd like to thank everyone at Ageas for their support during my time there. Steve is a really good choice to take the Ageas Protect marketing strategy forward and I wish both him and everyone at Ageas every success in the future".
