She will work closely with the network’s AR firms and their advisers
Mortgage and insurance network Stonebridge has announced the appointment of Caroline Bignell (pictured) as its new business development manager (BDM).
Bignell is CeMAP-qualified and has been a mortgage and protection consultant for more than a decade. She has a wealth of experience across many mortgage sectors from standard to specialist mortgage options, plus adverse and debt consolidation, and all areas of protection advice.
At Stonebridge, she will be a field-based BDM, working closely with appointed representative (AR) firms and their advisers, covering regions from Milton Keynes to Bournemouth, as well as West London.
She will also be working with Stonebridge members, supporting them in a range of disciplines including client bank management, strategic planning, sales development, lead generation, business referral opportunities, and recruitment.
Stonebridge recently reported continued strong mortgage application and completion growth throughout 2022, as well as record levels of adviser growth.
“We continue to develop and enhance our BDM team with CeMAP-qualified and highly experienced individuals, who are going to add real value to the member firms they work with,” Rob Clifford, chief executive at Stonebridge, stated in a post announcing the appointment.
“Caroline certainly fits this bill, and having been immersed in the mortgage and protection industries for over 10 years, she has the experience to know exactly what our members are going through, and the know-how to be able to tailor the support Stonebridge can provide based on their individual needs.
“We believe our firms in the regions covered by Caroline will gain a considerable amount from working with her and exploring how Stonebridge can continue to deliver for them.”
