The panel will offer products from five providers – Aviva, Bright Grey, Friends Provident, PruProtect and LV=.
The existing WOM offering provides commission terms at market leading rates, while the new panel offers even greater commission levels in return for a commitment to work solely with the chosen providers.
Stonebridge Group is keen to stress that its WOM proposition will run alongside the new panel and it is up to individual AR firms to choose which route they wish to use.
Commenting Richard Adams, managing director of Stonebridge Group, said: “Having conducted research and listened to our AR firms it was apparent that many were interested in securing greater income from working with a protection panel.
“In addition to increased commissions, many ARs felt that working closely with five market-leading insurers gave them more in-depth product knowledge and sales development focus to help increase protection sales.
“To this end we have introduced a protection panel to complement our existing WOM offering. It is now up to the AR firms to select the best option for their business model.
“This new panel is a further example of Stonebridge Group’s commitment to continually delivering opportunities for ARs to grow their businesses.”
