The equity release provider’s admittance follows a successful pilot of its range of lifetime mortgages through six specialist intermediary firms. Its products are aimed at homeowners aged over 55 and carry a ‘no negative equity’ guarantee. Jon King, chairman of SHIP, said: “Stonehaven has enjoyed incredible success and is opening up the market.”
BDS joins Rooftop panel
BDS Mortgage Group has joined Rooftop’s panel of distributor partners. The announcement follows Rooftop’s recent decision to cut its panel from 150 packagers and networks, to 60 key partners. BDS has been with the lender since launch and has access to an online underwriter and satellite packaging. Alison Beech, business development director at Rooftop, said: “We believe our partnership will continue to go from strength to strength.”
