The super trade body incorporating the Council of Mortgage Lenders, British Bankers’ Association and four others has been named 'UK Finance'.

He will oversee the appointment of a chief executive in the summer, while the trade body is expected to also launch around that time.
Other trade associations making up UK Finance are the Asset Based Finance Association (ABFA), Financial Fraud Action UK (FFA UK), Payments UK and the UK Cards Association (UKCA).
