From within their Swift administration software, IFAs can now log into the insurer’s extranet and submit a request for up-to-date information on their clients policies. A statement is then returned to them online, including the current value, fund values, projected maturity values and paid-up values. This information can be passed back into the Swift client records.
Using the message in/out procedure within Swift, IFAs are able to capture their data once and through data extraction pass it into the extranet and request information as and when they require it.
Digital technology certificates are used for validation and security. These are obtained through the registration process on both of the extranet sites.
