Kevin Richardson, chairman of Teachers Building Society, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Andrew to Teachers Building Society and am certain that he will strengthen the Board with his 30 years exceptional experience within financial services.
“The society has a strategy for strong growth over the next 5 to 10 years and I’m confident that Andrew will make a significant contribution to our continued success.”
Lee joins the board ahead of chairman Kevin Richardson’s retirement in April, meaning it will consist of two executive and four non-executive directors.
He added: “I’m looking forward to helping Teachers Building Society continue to grow.
“Teachers is an example of what a specialist, mutual lender, can offer its customers and, together with its reputation for providing an excellent level of service and passionate staff, is well placed to flourish.”
