The FAIRS system is used by over 300 intermediaries including IFAs, mortgage brokers and specialist private client portfolio managers. In addition to helping these intermediaries manage their client relationships effectively FAIRS also enables fact finds, needs analysis, valuations, portfolio modelling, asset allocation reviews, risk analysis and client reporting.
Users of FAIRS will be able to transfer client data electronically from their back-office into Exweb’s quote services and then into electronic application forms, removing the need to re-enter data many times and greatly reducing administrative processes and costs.
These arrangements form part of The Exchange’s strategy of integrating its market leading quotation and electronic application services with other systems used by intermediaries in order to make using electronic new business applications as easy as possible for IFAs. Exweb quote and new business services are the most heavily used in the industry with around 20,500 registered users processing 85 million quotes in 2004.
Gary Sawyer, managing director WMS – financial adviser services, comments:
“FAIRS can help intermediaries streamline many of the administrative processes their business currently faces, giving them more time to focus on advising their existing clients and winning new ones. The integration with Exweb is part of our commitment to helping our clients get maximum benefit from their investment in our technology.”
David Child, managing director of The Exchange, comments:
“The Exchange is committed to working with other technology suppliers to deliver integrated services that deliver practical business benefits to intermediaries. These arrangements will help FAIRS users save time and money by reducing their admin burden.”
