Specialist health and protection insurer The Exeter has appointed Chris Pollard as its chief operating officer, starting in March subject to final regulatory approval.
Specialist health and protection insurer The Exeter has appointed Chris Pollard as its chief operating officer, starting in March subject to final regulatory approval.
He will take a place on both the full and executive boards at The Exeter, assuming responsibility for operations, underwriting and claims.

As a consultant, Pollard’s clients have included EY, LV= and Prudential in recent years. Prior to this he worked as chief underwriter at Bupa and head of underwriting, claims and operations at Friends Life, now part of Aviva.
In his most recent role he was responsible for a multi-site operation, encompassing claims and underwriting policies.
