“HealthWise is the next step in this journey, delivering real benefits that will help our members manage their health positively and improve their overall quality of life.”
Dr Bippon Vinayak added: “We’re delighted to partner with The Exeter to help them to bringan independent, confidential medical support serviceto their members.
“We share the same vision, of helping people to manage their physical and mental health conditions, simply and quickly through technology.”
All members have access to core benefits, GP on demand and a second medical opinion service, providing a mix of convenience and reassurance.
These benefits offer convenient, sometimes instant access to diagnosis and expert advice and a second pair of eyes on existing diagnosis, whether for reassurance or to explore a different treatment path.
For income protection and health insurance members, the package is completed with physiotherapy and mental health modules, designed to support members with personalised support and guidance through two of the most common reasons for claim.
For life cover members of The Exeter’s recently launched Managed Life and Real Life plans, core benefits are complimented by nutritional advice and lifestyle coaching modules.
These offer practical advice on issues such as diet and nutrition, empowering members to make positive choices and improve their health and quality of life.
All benefits are accessed through a simple app for smartphone and tablet, so The Exeter members can take these benefits wherever they go.
