The addition of Abbey takes TFC Commercial’s panel to a total of 5: Commercial First, I Group, Lancashire Mortgage Corporation, Mortgage Guarantee and Abbey National.

The UK sub-prime commercial mortgage market is still in its infancy in the UK and the few organisations that can offer a packaging service frequently have a restricted panel – often only one or two commercial lenders. It is TFC’s objective to replicate in the commercial mortgage market, the success it has achieved in the residential mortgage market, where the company is on-track to process £1 billion of mortgages during 2004.
