The Money Centre looks to expand nationwide

The Money Centre has reported a significant increase in business processing on average £100 million of mortgage applications in a month, showing a substantial increase on 2004’s average of £60 million per month. This has led to the need to recruit to expand the team across the country to enable future growth.

Lynsey Scrivener, head of marketing at The Money Centre comments on company’s expansion; “We are currently looking to recruit consultants in four of our five offices. At the Sheffield sales office we are aiming to double the number of employees by the end of the year, and we are on a similar recruitment drive in Norwich, Shipley, and High Wycombe. Now is a great time to join The Money Centre and the buy-to-let industry in general. At the end of 2004 there were an estimated 526,000 buy-to-let mortgages worth £52.8bn* - a 34% increase in value over the previous year. Buy-to-let lending continues to account for 6% of the total outstanding residential mortgage lending, and with The Money Centre holding on to a 2% share of this market (measured by completions), we are in a strong position in the buy-to-let sector.”

Lynsey continues; “Recent figures from The Council of Mortgage Lenders has indicated that the buy-to-let sector continues to be buoyant. This is certainly something our business has benefited from. Hence, our need to recruit to continue expanding the business. As a forward thinking and expanding Norwich-based national company, it is vital to our business culture that we invest in people and are always looking to capitalise on the wealth of ambitious, enthusiastic talent that exists all around the country. We are looking to expand the sales team and offer a competitive package, especially considering that there is a basic salary plus commission. In an industry that is booming and still growing, you can see the enormous potential we are offering.”

The Money Centre would like to hear from anyone interested in the positions mentioned above. Candidates should have some experience in the role they are applying for and will be involved in arranging buy-to-let mortgages. If interested, call Shaun Green on 01603 428590 or email [email protected]
