The Mortgage Mum, a mortgage brokerage, has said it is still looking to expand and recruit, despite the coronavirus pandemic.
According to the firm, it is planning to expand to over 100 members across various sites around the UK by 2025.
In addition, the brokerage intends to start a podcast, which will cover the mortgage market and address key issues.
It also supports a female study group, which currently has over 200 women training to complete their CeMAP exams.
As a result of the government lockdown many firms have altered there working patterns by instructing employees to work from home.
However, The Mortgage Mum outlines its emphasis on technology with its flexible approach to working from home prior to the pandemic, which has minimised disruptions for its brokers, the firm said.
Furthermore, the brokerage has also arranged to join Mortgage Intelligence network.
Sarah Tucker, founder of The Mortgage Mum, said: “I believe there is a right time and place for everyone and everything. Now is undoubtedly a very unsettling time for us all, but I believe with the right mindset, this unique time could also be an opportunity to focus inward, to reflect, to adapt, to grow, and to potentially embark on something new.
“I am telling the women in our study group that now is a great time to focus on their CeMAP studies, ready for when the examination centres open again; and if you are already CeMAP qualified maybe now is a great time to start something new and put your energy into something positive.”
