The announcement comes as the Orbiter proposition, enabling advisers to source intermediary and direct to consumer products, continues to gain momentum and users across the market.
There are now just under 2000 registered users of the system, with over 250 additional new users registering in the last 2 days. The Orbiter system lists the products of over 120 lenders enabling virtual whole of market advice to be offered. It is online and is updated 4 times daily, ensuring it is constantly up to date. It also provides its users with full details of non intermediary products available direct to lender, enabling a true whole of market picture to be obtained.
Andrew Brown, Managing Director of Orbiter, welcomed the news, saying: “We are delighted our system is now available to The Whitechurch Network’s advisers. Any endorsement of Orbiter is gratefully received, but Whitechurch’s support is particularly welcome as their value-for-money proposition and compliance focus are a great fit with the strengths of our system. Advisers currently need efficient value adding support services now more than ever and this is what both our propositions deliver.”
Robert Kelly, Group IT Director at Orbiter, adds: “We have done a huge amount of work on the Orbiter system to ensure it can align with the way networks work with their advisers. Working in harmony with network propositions, offering a whole-of-market range of products and being integrated with 40 lender affordability calculations are three of the strongest features of our system- along with leading edge sourcing technology of course. We are delighted this is having a positive effect on the number of users we have. Whitechurch’s support follows a recent flood of advisers registering for our free system.”
Ian McIver, Managing Director of The Whitechurch Network, added: “Orbiter is one of the new breed of sourcing systems, with comprehensive product sourcing and a comprehensive yet simple compliance proposition. I’m sure our members will find the system a real asset in their day to day work with clients.”
