The walk was kicked off by supporters and patrons of the charity including singing star Beverley Knight, TV presenters Suzi Perry and Don Goodman and ex Wolves and England star Steve Bull MBE.
Promise Dreams was set up by directors of Promise Solutions in 2001 to help terminally and seriously ill children and their families and operates from their head office in Wolverhampton.
Steve Walker commented “This was a huge achievement and my thanks go out Beacon Radio which organized and promoted this event. They did an amazing job and thanks also go to all those people who turned out on the day to make a real difference for some very sick kids across the UK. 10% of the money raised will also go to local charities.”
