threesixty sponsors IFP

threesixty decided to sponsor the IFP because of the high level of cross-over between its own client base and the membership of the IFP, a body committed to the development of financial planning.

David Ingram, partner, threesixty services, commented: “The IFP’s objective of helping its members to become more professional fits well with threesixty’s increasing involvement in business development with client firms and we will be promoting many of the IFP’s resources over the coming months, especially those that relate to building and running fee-based practices.”

Nick Cann, chief executive of the IFP, commented: “The IFP is delighted to be getting closer to the advisers and firms in the market that are committed to making positive change. During the time that the IFP has worked with threesixty services we have seen a lot of synergy with a number of our respective goals. Both organisations are committed to supporting the members in developing their businesses and the individuals within them. A number of Certified Financial Planner professionals are already threesixty clients and we hope to raise that figure as the relationship develops.”

The IFP aims to raise recognition of the financial planning profession. Members of the IFP have the opportunity to develop their skills as financial planners through continuing professional development (CPD), exams, workshops and seminars.
