It is coming up fast and firms who don’t improve will be met with large fines. I think the time has come for the FSA to truly show its teeth and in doing so I think that firms will be scared – finally – of the FSA. In my opinion, it has been too soft on firms in the three years it has regulated the mortgage sector and this should help to redress the balance.
